Again! Teguh, the 13th winner of the Speech Contest Competition!

On September 8, 2020, Office Administration Education student, Teguh Wicaksono, won another achievement in the Speech Competition HISTORICASE at the University of Mataram 2020. On this occasion, due to the corona virus pandemic, all competitions must be conducted online, so the speech competition that was participated by Teguh also requires him to use the Online Speech Competition system. The theme of this competition is Reinforcement of Culture in Globalization Era. This competition was held by the Mataram University International Relations Student Association. In this online speech competition, 20 participants from all over Indonesia participated from high school level to university level. This online speech contest has a mechanism that is divided into two rounds, the first round is an online video submission speech competition. So in the first round or preliminary round, the participants are required to make their video speech by choosing one theme from eight themes that have been provided by the committee. Participants are required to deliver a speech with a maximum duration of 7 minutes with the video display only showing the body from head to waist, after participants make their video speech, participants are required to send the video speech to Instagram TV (IGTV) each with the appropriate caption and hashtag. has been determined in the Guide Book of the competition that has been determined.

In addition to sending videos to IG TV, participants are also required to send the video to Google Drive and send it to the committee email that has been provided. After all participants have submitted and collected their preliminary speech videos according to the predetermined time limit, the participants will wait for the announcement of who will enter the big 5 round or the Grand Final Speech Competition which will be held 3 days after the announcement of the grand finalists. In the announcement of the big 5 round, Teguh qualified as the second best finalist and will participate in the grand final competition. In the final round, participants took part in a live online speech via Google Meets. In this round, participants were asked to re-deliver their speech in the preliminary round and at the end of their speech, participants were given two questions from the jury regarding their speech. On that occasion, Teguh delivered the theme of the speech with the title Potential of Local Culture. After the grand finale process was completed, two days later, it was announced who would be the Champion and Runner Up.
